1. Letter of resignation for the purpose of retirement from Theodore A. Jakubowski, Superintendent of Schools, effective January 1, 2010.
E. Fiscal and Planning Committee
F-1. The committee recommends and I so move that the Board accept FY2010 Funding Allocations for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Public Law 111-5) as follows and in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member: (a) Basic - $1,998,672 and (b) Preschool - $72,032.
F. Operations Committee
O-1. The committee recommends and I so move that the board accept proposal for Food Service Management for the 2009-2010 school year from ARAMARK Education, 1101 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-2. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve the submission of the following project to the New Jersey Department of Education. (This is an “Other Capital Project” and the board is not seeking state funding):
I.T. Department Renovation at Union High School
O-3. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve amendment of the Long Range Facility Plan to include I.T. Department Renovation at Union High School.
F. Personnel Committee
P-1. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve personnel actions in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
P-2. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve payment to staff for summer 2009 security and miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Principal at Union High School as follows: (a) Johnny Derosiers at a rate of $ 25.06 not to exceed 7 hours per day and (b) Joe Florio at a rate of $34.20 per hour not to exceed 7 hours per day.
P-3. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board accept letter of resignation for the purpose of retirement from Theodore A. Jakubowski, Superintendent of Schools, effective January 1, 2010.
P-4. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve payment to Betsy Manderichio for Summer 2009 secretarial work at a daily rate of $180.27 not to exceed 10 days or $1,802.70.
G. Policy Committee
Pol-1. The committee recommends and I so move that the board adopt Policy Code 8462 – Reporting Potentially Missing or Abused Children in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
