E-1. The committee recommends and I so move that approval be given to amend the 2010-2011 out-of-district atypical student placement list and students exited from out-of-district placement in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
E-2. The committee recommends and I so move that approval be given to amend the list of students removed from the rolls [three (3) student exited from February 1st through February 28th 2011 for a total of twenty-three (23) students for the 2010-2011 school year] who are not domiciled in this school district and three (3) students who will be allowed to complete the 2010-2011 school year. in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
E-3. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve school calendar; twelve month employee calendar and the maintenance department calendar for the 2011-2012 school year.
E-4. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve Uniform State Memorandum of Agreement between Union Board of Education and Law Enforcement Officials in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
E-5. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve the establishment of a full-time Behavioral Disabilities Class at Union High School effective March 21, 2011 in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.

F-1. The committee recommends and I so move that the Treasurer’s Report dated February 28, 2011 be accepted.
F-2. The committee recommends and I so move that the Secretary’s Report dated February 28, 2011 be accepted.
F-3. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23-2.11(a), I certify that as of February 28, 2010 no budgetary line item account has obligations and payments (contractual orders) which in total exceed the amount appropriated by the district board of education pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:22-8 and 18:22-8.1.

Pursuant to N.J.A.C.6A:23-2.2(h), we certify that as of February 28, 2010 after review of the secretary’s monthly financial report (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials that to the best of our knowledge no major account or fund has been over-expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23-2.2(d)3 and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year. This certification is solely based on the information provided by the School Business Administrator and Board Secretary and is assumed by the board to be correct.

I. Operations Committee Resolutions
O-1. Report receipt of bids received on March 8, 2011 for purchase and installation of SmartBoards
O-2. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve that poll workers for the April 27, 2011 School Board Election be paid at the rate of $14.29 per hour for a maximum of eight (8) hours or $114.32.
O-3. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve advertisement for disposal of attached equipment which is deemed no longer serviceable, in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-4. The committee recommends and I so move that the board accept donation of books to Hannah Caldwell Elementary Library from Hannah Caldwell PTA in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-5. The committee recommends and I so move that the board increase bid amount for paper supplies for the 2010-2011 school year which was previously amended on February 8, 2011 to RIS Paper Company, 1531 Boettler Road, Suite E, Uniontown, OH 44685 from $116,511.39 to $120,091.34 in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-6. The committee recommends and I so move that the board accept donation from Kean University of tennis balls from their women’s tennis program to be used by district students for the purpose of reducing noise from chair movement in classrooms for students who require reduced auditory distractions per their IEP’s in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-7. The committee recommends and I so move that pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:41-1 and P.L. 2009, Chapter 178, the board approve the following security drill reports from Burnet Middle School for the 2010-2011 school year in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-8. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve Interlocal Agreement with the Township of Union for Copier Paper which has been approved by the Township at its January 11th, 2011 meeting in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-9. The committee recommends and I so move that the board increase bid amount to Buy Wise Auto Parts, 2091 Springfield Avenue, Vauxhall, NJ for Automotive Bid #11-13 which was awarded on June 30 2010 from $10,454.64 to $11,475.08 in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-10. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve Agreement for Facility Use between the Board and the Township of Union Department of Health in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.

J. Personnel Committee Resolutions
P-1. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that Personnel Actions be approved in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
P-2. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the Board amend Substitute/Home Instruction List; Substitute Custodians, Substitute Cafeteria/Playground Aides, Teacher Assistants and Secretaries for the 2009-2010 school year in accordance with the information in the hands of each board.
P-3. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board amend list of staff members approved to present in-service courses at a per person compensation rate of $40 per hour in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
P-4. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve maternity leave for Jeanine Sapone, science teacher at Kawameeh Middle School for the period April 26, 2011 through the end of the 2010-2011 school year.

The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve Morris Union Jointure Commission, 340 Central Avenue, New Providence, NJ 07974 to do Outreach Services – Behavioral Management for district students for the 2010-2011 school year at a rate of $215 per hour; $915 per full day and $645 per half day not to exceed $3,000 in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve Bergen County Special Services School District , 35 Piermont Road, Rockleigh, NJ 07647 to provide bedside instruction for a district student for the period September 7, 2010 through December 30, 2010 in an amount not to exceed $5,880 in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board accept proposal from Educational Advantage, 14 Madison Court, Tinton Falls, NJ for Differentiated Instruction/Best Practices and Rubrics to Improve Classroom Instruction at Burnet Middle School at a rate of $500 per half day per presenter; $1,000 per full day per presenter in an amount not to exceed $13,000 for the 2010-2011 school year in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
