Upon recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Fiscal and Planning Committee presents the following resolutions for the Board’s consideration:
F-1. Approve the General Fund tax levy of $87,700,754 in the 2017-2018 school year.
F-2. Approve withdrawal from Capital Reserve to Capital Outlay (Fund 12) in the amount of $5,000,000 for the following projects, in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member:
Asbestos - districtwide - $176,000.00
Bathroom Renos – districtwide - $300,000.00
Bus Parking Lot Pave & Fence - $539,000.00
New Lighting Panel & New Lighting Aud & Gym - Burnet - $269,500.00
Repair Ceiling Auditorium - Livingston - $71,000.00
New Auditorium Chairs - Washington - $220,000.00
Repair Flat Roof - Franklin - $345,000.00
New LED Lighting, Ceiling, Fire Alarms – Union High - $1,660,500.00
New Mechanic Lift - $132,000.00
New Heating System Garage - $300,000.00
Replace Boilers – Connecticut Farms - $230,000.00
Replace Boilers - Franklin - $260,000.00

F-3. Approve Travel Expenditure Maximum, in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
F-4. Approve establishing a maximum dollar limit for professional services and public relations in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
F-5. Approve authorization to the Superintendent and Business Administrator to implement the 2017-2018 school budget and tax levy pursuant to local and state policies.
