F-3. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(d), I certify that as of October 31st, 2012 no budgetary line item account has obligations and payments (contractual orders) which in total exceed the amount appropriated by the district board of education pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:22-8 and 18:22-8.1.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(e), we certify that as of October 31st 2012 after review of the secretary’s monthly financial report (appropriate section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials that to the best of our knowledge no major account or fund has been over-expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(b) and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year. This certification is solely based on the information provided by the School Business Administrator and Board Secretary and is assumed by the board to be correct.

O-2. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve discard of textbooks in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.
O-3. The committee recommends and I so move that the board affirm the Superintendent’s resolution of Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) conclusions for the period October 8th through November 12th 2012.
O-4. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve waiver of rental fees for use of Battle Hill gym every Thursday from January through March 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. by Crossroads Christian Fellowship Church, 2815 Morris Avenue, Union, New Jersey for their upcoming volleyball/basketball program. The organization will be responsible for utility costs as well as any custodial fees that apply.
O-5. The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve Annual Review and Revisions of Uniform Memorandum of Agreement between Education and Law Enforcement Officials in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.

The committee recommends and I so move that the board accept proposal from Potter Architects, 410 Colonial Avenue, Union, New Jersey (Proposal #2012105) for Franklin Elementary School Intercom, Clock and PA/Sound System Upgrades in an amount not to exceed $13,800 in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member.

The committee recommends and I so move that the board approve use of Union High School Main Gym on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. by Township of Union Police Department PBA Local #69 to sort and pack up toys which were collected during the Santa In Blue Toy Drive for distribution.

The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve security monitors for Union High School Production of “Xanadu” for performances on November 29 and 30, December 1 and 2, 2012 as follows: Helene Lateiner; Ron Lateiner; Valerie Desamours; Dee Stewart; Gayle Sumner; Mark D’Aloia; Patricia Frazier; Carlos Esquivel; Joe Florio; Tony Manderichio and Tony Stewart. There will be four monitors working each performance at a rate of $22.22 per hour for four hours or not to exceed $88.88 per person. The cost for each performance will not exceed $355.52 and the total cost for all four performances will not exceed $1,422.08.
P-7. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve Bergen County Special Services, 327 East Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ to provide Related Services for an out of district student at Millburn Regional Day School at a rate of $62 per 30 minutes, not to exceed $2480 for the 2012-2013 school year in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member. P-8. The Superintendent recommends, the committee concurs and I so move that the board approve Mountain Lakes Board of Education, Lake Drive School, 10 Lake Drive, Mountain Lakes, NJ to provide interpreting services for extracurricular activities for a district student who attends the Lake Drive Program in an amount not to exceed $8,000 for the 2012-2013 school year in accordance with the information in the hands of each board member. (These services are in accordance with student’s IEP and will be charged to Acct No. 11-000-216-320-01-19)
